Douglas Sheehy, J.D. |
Mr. Sheehy manages the company’s legal operations. He joined Codexis in 2007 with an extensive background in managing legal operations in the life science industry. He joined the company from CV Therapeutics, Inc., a publicly-traded biopharmaceutical company, where he served for five years, most recently as Executive Director, Legal – Corporate Law. While at CV Therapeutics, Mr. Sheehy was responsible for legal management of corporate and securities matters, manufacturing activities, clinical research and commercialization matters. In addition, Mr. Sheehy played a key role in raising over $1 billion in numerous equity and debt offerings. Previously, he served as an attorney for six years with the law firms of Gunderson Dettmer LLP and Brobeck Phleger & Harrison, where he represented public and private technology and life sciences companies. Mr. Sheehy holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Dartmouth College and a J.D. from American University, where he graduated cum laude and was Editor-in-Chief of the American University Law Review.
