Shell Finance Executive Streng Elected to Codexis Board
Redwood City, CA - April 30, 2009
Codexis, Inc. today announced that Chris Streng, Vice President, Finance of Global Manufacturing for Royal Dutch Shell plc, has been elected to the Codexis Board of Directors, bringing the Board to eight members.
Mr. Streng is based in Houston, Texas, where he is employed by Shell Downstream Inc., and is responsible for finance for refinery and petrochemical plants in the Shell Group worldwide. He joined the Shell Group in 1990, and has held financial management positions in Shell’s exploration and production, refining and chemicals businesses, as well as the mergers & acquisitions and treasury functions. He also serves as a director or in an equivalent position for certain refining joint ventures in which Shell Companies are owners. Mr. Streng holds a master’s degree in finance from the London Business School and a master of science degree in business engineering from the University of Twente, The Netherlands.
