Codexis Expands Global Commercial Operations — Opens East Coast Office
Redwood City, CA - June 19, 2003
Codexis, Inc. today announced the opening of its east coast office, located just outside the metropolitan Philadelphia area in the Great Valley Technology Center located in Malvern, Pennsylvania. The east coast office will facilitate commercial interactions with Codexis’ growing base of pharmaceutical and biotechnology partners who have operations in the region. Codexis now has commercial offices in three locations worldwide, facilitating business development activities and customer interaction. In addition to the company’s Pennsylvania office, Codexis has commercial offices in the United Kingdom and in the San Francisco Bay Area, providing key customer support for Codexis’ partners.
Recently appointed Vice President for Business Development, Kevin Taylor, will coordinate Codexis’ global business development activities from the east coast office. “As Codexis progresses in its evolution towards a product focused company, it is increasingly important to be close to our target markets,” said Mr. Taylor. “With commercial operations located in close proximity to our partners and customers, Codexis is better positioned to attract new business and to be even more responsive to our clients. An east coast office furthermore allows for improved coordination of our expanding North American and European commercial operations.”
